Cauliflower soup

I adore soup, don't you? Especially when it has rained inches on top of snow and is close to freezing and everything is cold and wet... soup seems to be the only thing that can warm my bones.

The best part of this slikly cauliflower soup is that it took practically no time at all thanks to my CUISINART!!!!! One of my favorite gifts ever (thanks mom!). Nick prepped the cauliflower last weekend so I only had to sautee, boil, puree and we were golden. I even had time to kick-back and enjoy a Newcastle with Nick while the soup cooked... for all of 20 minutes. TWENTY minutes people. I can't think of many proper meals that take less than 30 minutes.
Something else that amazes me is that for over a quart of soup, I used barely any seasoning (one turn each of the S&P mills) and the flavor was intensely delicious. Make this now! Original recipe from Dave Lieberman (I used vegetable stock and did not find it lacking in any way). Enjoy! xN

P.S. I forgot to mention earlier... I know it looks like prison food. I know. But I promise, it is REALLY good. Maybe a sprinkle of paprika would be pretty on top? I considered before serving but was too nervous it would adversely affect the already perfect flavor
